Myrus lead Teacher Miuru Jayaweera (PhD) takes her classes into the next level by combining different yoga styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini, Medical Yoga & Face Yoga within a 60 minutes class leaving the students with a calm, open minded, stress -free and energized disposition. This is the secret success of Myrus Yoga.

There is a common saying that Yoga is for everybody with any sort of body. This is absolutely true. At Myrus you can be organically yourself without inhibition and still enjoy the sessions. There is no one to judge, no one to set rules. “Do what you” can is our Yoga class motto. We have classes to suit your level of practice and time of the day, every single day of the week.

Intermediate | Advanced Yoga (Mixed Style)

Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Time: 8.30 am | 10.00 am

Teacher: Miuru Jayaweera (PhD | E-RYT500)

Mode: In person  & Online on Zoom

90 minutes of challenging yet fulfilling Mixed style of Yoga experience by one of Sri Lanka’s finest Yoga teachers.
This class will give you everything you need to feel energized & accomplished in Peak Pose Classes (Mostly You get to choose the Asana you would like to perform and the teacher will guide you towards the pose with the correct techniques, warmups & practices in a group class set up)
The class will on some days make you feel completely restorative, calm and relaxed (At least once a month, the teacher will rejuvenate you with a full Yin Yoga sequence throughout the 90 mins followed by deep meditation and Kundalini mantra chanting)
The class can take you into experiencing Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series as well as Tabata Yoga on selected days of the month.
The class will guide you towards a personal home practice with minute detail into technique in a fun, methodical way.

Dr.Miuru Jayaweera (PhD) is an Internationally Certified, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) from International Yoga Alliance (USA) She is also a certified Medical Yoga Teacher specializing in Yoga for Lifestyle diseases from Gnosis Medical Yoga Institute Pune India and certified by Yoga Teach Institute Pune India for Yoga for Female Health | Ayurveda Food & Nutrition | Cervical ,.Lumbar Spondylosis and Knee Health. Dr. Jayaweera is also a certified meditation practitioner & teacher from the International Association for Professional Coaches, Counsellors and Therapists. She is also a qualified Ashtanga (Primary Series) Yoga Teacher (Mysore, India) Dr.Miuru is also a teacher trainer of the International Yoga Alliance USA having taught many Yoga teachers up to date who is either teaching at Myrus studios or elsewhere worldwide.
